Key Management Active in the Business:

Jeff Martin, CO-Owner of Managed Data Solutions, brings years of extensive computer systems and data management experience to the Managed Data Solutions team having served as systems architect and operations manager for Meridian Data Systems (systems consulting company) and Urocor Inc.(a large scale medical lab). Jeff also previously served as support analyst for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) with a government security clearance and as a freelance contractor offering various programming, project administration and support contracts to a variety of clients.

With experience encompassing software and hardware architecture, database consulting, custom programming, Internet web site applications and development. Jeff’s primary focus is spent with organizations assisting with systems architecture, cost benefits analysis, risk assessment and negation. While Jeff is proficient in Linux and Linux application development the majority of development is using Visual Studio and Microsoft® SQL Server to develop both .Net web applications as well as custom multi-tier applications.

Jeff has obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Systems as well as numerous years of hands on experience in both Windows and Linux operating systems. Jeff understands that to provide the best solution one first needs to become intimate with the current processes and practices of the organization. Only with the understanding of how an organization’s information and processes flow is how a consultant is properly equipped to make sound recommendations.

Bill Lindsey, CO-Owner of Managed Data Solutions boasts more than 30 years in the fields of corporate information systems and data management, computer networking & network and data security and systems support.

Among Bill’s experiences are systems integration, Microsoft® SQL setup, programming, and maintenance, Microsoft® .Net programming & implementation, Visual Studio, web site and data application programming. Predominantly, Bill utilizes Visual C++ and Visual Basic .Net. Bill has provided custom IT solutions across many industries, including wholesale distribution, manufacturing, medicine, law, food industry and retail and EDI implementation.  Bill is also well experienced in video production.

Bill has attended both Louisiana State University and Oklahoma State University and has continued his education through Microsoft® training programs. Prior to joining Managed Data Solutions, Bill was employed by United Engines, Inc. in Oklahoma City, where he served a variety of roles including the implementation and support of their PC network and systems. Bill is also a published author, having written several instructional books for Microsoft® operating systems and software. Bill is a former member of FEMA, and is a charter member of the Department of Homeland Security.

Neal Martin, CO-Owner of Managed Data Solutions, excels in the area of manufacturing and business management having previously served as General Manufacturing Manager for a 200 plus employee operation, Vice President Operations for a multiple branch corporation and CFO for a multiple company corporation during his many years of business experience.

Neal’s expertise primarily lies in business management, accounting, inventory control and effective systems that are required to create a team effort. Neal received an Associates degree in Industrial Drafting Technology from Oklahoma State University Technical Institute and has previously held a high level security clearance while at Sandia Laboratories, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Our Facility

Our facility, including our secure data center, is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Unlike virtually any other data hosting provider, our facility is owned by our own management.  This ownership provides us complete control over security, access, and facilities.

We operate our secure data center using primarily 208 volts and some 120 volt service with power provided from our APC Symmetra equipment, which is in turn backed by an auto start and automatically switched natural gas generator. The combination of voltage, batteries, and generator backup assures us the highest possible uptime.

Our Security and Redundancy

We know how important your data and business is and we have taken many steps to earn your trust and to ensure the integrity of your data. Additional layers of security have been built into our Network Operations Center (NOC) and we have our Access Control Procedures (ACP) in place, to limit physical access to our NOC. All servers housed at Managed Data Solutions are located behind our hardware-based firewall system and connected to our high speed, data lines and supported by a battery backup (UPS) array that conditions power into our Network Operations Center, which is backed up by a auto start natural gas generator in case of commercial power outage.

Redundancy is paramount to keeping your data accessible.  At Managed Data Solutions, we have taken many steps to ensure redundancy, including OC-12 dual fiber Internet connections to our building, independent fiber sources from opposite ends of our facility into two different Internet backbones. Our scheduled after hours maintenance windows, means your server is ready for business during normal business hours. Our extraordinary security measures, Internet connectivity redundancy, equipment and world-class service, assures you that your sensitive information is protected and available.
